The Japan Karate Association (JKA), the world’s oldest, largest, and most respected Shotokan karate organization, proudly brings an intensive four-day karate event to the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) from August 27 to 30.
This prestigious gathering will feature high-level Shotokan karate instruction rooted in traditional JKA standards, focusing on kihon (basics), kata (forms), and kumite (sparring). Participants will have the rare opportunity to train under JKA-qualified instructors, ensuring technical precision, discipline, and authentic karate education aligned with global JKA practices.
Open to karate practitioners of varying levels, the event aims to strengthen foundational skills, deepen understanding of Shotokan principles, and promote the true spirit of budo.
